Installation of Shock Racing Hayabusa Tail Light

First you want to take off the seat and the cowl so you can remove the screws for the tail section. The stock rear tail light is mounted to the tail section plastics




Once that is all removed you want to disconnect the tail light and blinkers and put them aside


Grab your new tail light assembly and plug in the running lights and the brake lights. On my 2004 Hayabusa I had aftermarket blinkers on so I had to disconnect those and plug them into the blue and yellow wires that are attached to the Shock Racing Hayabusa Tail Light. After that I had to splice in the license plate light which connect to the black and white wires in your existing assembly. After that put the tail section back in, bolt it all back on, put on the seat and cowl and your on your way!
