Today we started off
by meeting up in Long Beach and the headed up to meet Jerry and Beve
at Matrix Cycle Works in Riverside. Jerry is working on the Weeend Warrior
Hayabusa and I wanted to check out the progress of the bike so we talked
with those guys for awhile and got to see some real custom stuff. I
was able to leave them a nice burnout in the their garage so they will
remember me when they are out there working. From there we went over
to Tom's Farms were I realized I dropped my wallet on the 15 freeway.
Busa KG and Lem stopped to pick it up and after messing with me a little
returned my wallet. Good looking out Busa Boys! From Toms Farms we headed
back down to Long Beach and got a chance to slow the 22 Freeway down
for a roll on opportunity. We ended up all going over 160 in this stretch
and that was awesome! After that we noticed that Wykeene's tire was
flat so we pulled over and Busa Ray had a repair kit under his seat
so we were able to plug the whole. We started loosing a few people so
it was Louie, Wykeene and Busa Ray that kept on going. We headed up
to San Pedro to check out some of the scenery and then headed to Starbucks
for a coffee. We regrouped with Dr. Bell and then terrorized Torrance
and Carson for about a half hour. We ended the day at Busa Ray's house
and did a daily recap. We road from 9:30am to 6:00pm today and put over
200 miles on our bikes. Not a bad day of riding at all! |
